Enactus is an international organization that connects student, academic and business leaders through entrepreneurial-based projects that empower people to transform opportunities into real, sustainable progress for themselves and their communities.
Here at Enactus Leicester, we are a team of passionate and creative individuals that are shaping the future in our own way. Each of us is a collaborator at heart, and we never plan to stop!
Our teams identify market opportunities in both local and international communities and undertake an in-depth market analysis to identify the needs and wants of the market. We do this to understand the key barriers and formulate ways to improve the livelihood of those communities.
After identifying the market opportunities, we create project groups of concurring students who create and implement enterprise focused on improving the economic, social and environmental conditions and transforming the lives of the communities.
We enable progress by implementing projects that focus on long term sustainability of the community. For instance, one of our project focus on recruiting unemployed and homeless people to improve and equip them with transferable skills to help them back into the world of work.
Which Enactus Team most effectively used entrepreneurial action to empower people to improve their livelihoods in an economically, socially and enivronmentally sustainable way?
